9/17に11thアルバム「Pilgrimage of the Soul」をリリースするMONO。同アルバムに収録される「Riptide」のMVがYouTubeの公式チャンネルで公開された。

スタジオアルバムとしては2019年1月にリリースされた「Nowhere Now Here」以来、約2年半ぶりの新作となる同作だが、「Riptide」のレコーディングは新型コロナ問題の只中である2020年夏に行われたとのことだ。
